Susie Morris

Bio

London born artist, Susie Morris, moved from England to Vancouver in 1996, where she has resided since that time.

Susie studied at St. Martin’s School of Art in London and then became involved in the world of fashion illustration, creating images for international magazines and newspapers whilst pursuing her love of painting.

Throughout her artistic career, the human form has been Susie’s most enduring and fascinating subject, believing it to be the most elusive, challenging and vital form of artistic expression.

Susie spends part of the year painting and sailing in Europe and, also, working on commissions for figurative works and landscapes whilst enjoying life to the fullest.

She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of Canada and a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and has had a juried painting at the London Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.

Many of her paintings hang in private collections in Europe, the United States, Canada and Australia.
